Prayer is conversing with the Creator of the universe, nothing less.  We pray for many reasons, to give thanks to God, to ask forgiveness, to ask for guidance or, to ask The Father through the intercession of His Son, Jesus Christ and by the power of The Holy Spirit to answer the needs of another.

The Holy Spirit prayer Chain is a ministry of prayer conducted by members of the parish which seeks to bind the community together on behalf of anyone in need of intercession through prayer. The structure of the chain is designed to insure that a known need is constantly being prayed for . In recent years, studies have been conducted which have indicated concrete benefits resulting from communal prayer with respect to illness recovery.
